#1 Get your paperwork in order.
A lender will typically need the following:
A) Last 30 days pay stubs
B) Past 2 years Federal Tax Returns – (All Pages)
C) Past 2 years W2’s
D) Most recent 2 months bank statements for all accounts – (All Pages – If 1 of 4, I need all 4)
E) Most recent retirement statement – (i.e. 401k, IRA, stocks, etc.)- (All Pages)
F) Copy of Driver’s License and Social Security Card
Before you do anything gather all of these items up NOW, not providing all of these documents and whatever else your lender asks for can slow down or even STOP your home purchase in its tracks.
